Since my life currently is revolving around baby feedings and poopy diapers, you can expect a lot more mommy related posts in the future. This means less recipes, less recaps of date nights with the hubby, and less variety. So, if you’re totally uninterested in all things baby related, you will probably start to hate my blog. BUT, if you want to hear all about breast feeding, sore nipples, and lack of sleep, then this is the place to be!! Stay tuned 🙂
Since I have a lot going on these days, I haven’t been able to post as often and it will probably be a little while until I have enough free time to post regularly again. With that in mind, I wanted to introduce you to some other blogs to keep you occupied until I’m back in full swing.
I was never a blog reader until my friend James introduced me to Google Reader. I found that I was interested in other people’s day-to-day lives, even if I didn’t know them personally. Once I quit my full time job, I decided to start this blog for something extra to do.
These are blogs that I read on a daily basis. They are definitely different than mine, and most focus on healthy living, but I still find them interesting.
Some of my friends started keeping blogs too. Check them out!
Four days ago we welcomed our little girl, Avery Mae, into the world. She weighed in at exactly 8 lbs on August 26 at 8:35 PM. She is perfect in every way and we are enjoying every minute with her.
Over the course of the past few weeks, Macy’s closet has gone from this:
We still have some finishing touches to work on and we are also adding a second bar to the one side, but at least it is now fully functioning and I was able to organize both Macy’s and the baby’s closets. Almost all of the clothes pictured above fit her too. Crazy, right? I love that the closet has plenty of storage and the polka dot canvas bins are so cute (from Lowe’s, if you were wondering). The color of the closet is “pink flutter,” which Macy and I love but Blake thinks it is too pink. I think he better get used to it, living with a houseful of girls! We are debating about/ putting a door on the closet actually since we both love how it looks as is. Perhaps a curtain that matches her bedding instead?? What are your thoughts?
After a horrible experience with the Geek Squad (part of Best Buy stores), I FINALLY have my laptop back. It took almost a month to repair my power port and throughout the process I had to consistently contact customer service to get status updates. I called the general number four times and the local store three times to track down my computer and if I hadn’t, I would still be without a computer.
I did complain to a manager at the local store when I went to pick up yesterday, and he was helpful, apologized, and offered me a $45 discount, which proves that it is worth it to express your opinion. While it was nice that my bad experience was recognized, I would still be hesitant to take my computer to the Geek Squad for repair again. Have you ever used the Geek Squad? If so, what was your experience like?
Welcome to the world, Tinsley Marie Fees! This morning, Mercedes and Brad had a 6 lbs 15 oz baby girl. Now we need to have our little girl so these babies can become best friends!
I think Macy is practicing for after baby comes. She has been getting out a TON of diapers and putting them on all of her “friends.” At first, I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Now, I’m getting a little tired of picking up diapers all day long.
I think that this big sister is definitely going to be a good helper!
