christmas eve feast

Christmas Eve started off with a few glasses of Pinot Grigio,

homemade wienie winks,

and poor man’s caviar (delicious!).

Dinner (made by your’s truly) included a salad, creamy parmesan risotto (horrible picture courtesy of my husband.  I promise it tastes better than it looks),

shrimp cocktail,

and lobster tails. This was my first holiday meal hosted and I was proud that there were no major mishaps.  We may have started a new holiday tradition.  These girls are sure to make Christmas special every year.

chubba bubba

A lot of people have been commenting how big Avery is, especially compared to Macy as a baby.  I find this amusing because even though Macy has always been on the petite side, she was still a pretty chubby baby.

Looking through all these pictures made me miss baby Macy.  Good thing I have another baby to snuggle with, or I would have caught baby fever in a bad way 😉

We had a fun playdate with our friends this week.  I always look forward to seeing my friend, Lynn, and her little boy, Octavian.  Macy and “Tav” (as she calls him) had fun destroying our living room and then jumping on the bed.

The months are flying by… happy four months little girl!

old st. nick

We went to see Santa this past week, and Macy acted like they were old friends.  We were shocked, but happy that she wasn’t scared like last year.  She had a full conversation with him, and told him exactly what she wanted.  I think he came through with all of her requests today 🙂  She was definitely on the nice list this year!
