mini garlic monkey bread

The other day when I made cheesy vegetable chowder, I also made mini garlic monkey bread.  This is another recipe compliments of Pinterest.  These mini breads look awesome but, unfortunately, taste just okay.

I will still share the recipe, but just remember- I warned you that they look better than they taste!

Mini Garlic Monkey Bread

  • 1 can buttermilk biscuits
  • 3 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/8 cup shredded Parmesan cheese plus 2 Tbsp. additional to sprinkle on top

Cut biscuits into 4 pieces and place in a bowl.

Combine the melted butter, garlic, parsley, and 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese together and pour over the biscuit pieces.  Gently toss the biscuit pieces to get evenly coated with the butter mixture.  Using a 12 cup muffin tin, place 6 pieces of the coated biscuit dough into each muffin cup. Use the additional 2 Tbsp of Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top of the breads in the muffin cups.

Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm and try to enjoy!
