a blog about my busy little life as a mom

mexico!

Blake and I went to Mexico last weekend with another couple and had such a fabulous time!  The girls stayed home with their grandmas, so we were able to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted, and that felt amazing!SAM_4069

As soon as we stepped off the plane, the boys were more than happy to get us a couple refreshing beverages!

After a long morning of traveling, drinks were much appreciated.

We stayed at the Excellence Riviera Cancun, which was beautiful!  I would highly recommend this resort to everyone looking for a relaxing vacation.  Just a heads up- the median age at this resort is probably 55, but that didn’t seem to cramp our style one bit.  We met some great people who we ended  up having A LOT of fun with.

Stef and I pretty much soaked up the rays while the boys soaked up the booze.  The swim up bar opened at 10 each day and these two were usually the first in line.

We had a few really good meals while we were there.  Since we were only there for four days, we tried to have an appetizer at one restaurant and then dinner at another.  Pretty much everything we had was good (though not amazing) and the French restaurant was the only one that was disappointing.SAM_4077

Lots of fun and relaxation… when can we do it again?!?SAM_4098SAM_4103SAM_4106
