Of course, we had to have a burger and dog night while on vacation. I volunteered to make blue cheese burgers (which I had never made before but sounded good). Stef was my little helper and I found out that this was actually one of the first time she had her hands in a bowl of meat. She enjoyed it and the burgers came out great, so hopefully she will be handling a lot of beef in her future 🙂
We mixed in 4 oz blue cheese, salt, pepper, chopped garlic, and worcestershire sauce before forming patties. We topped some of the burgers with extra blue cheese and others with Cooper sharp American. The hot dogs were great too- very juicy Ballpark franks.I just had to have one of each. One for me, one for the baby, right?Maureen and Harley brought the cutest little beers. They are the perfect size because you don’t have to worry about them getting warm. I didn’t have any, but I have been known to enjoy the Corona pony beers!
